Overwhelmed with choice?

Don’t worry, we’ve ALL been there! But we’re here to help you guide you through this process. If you are a first timer this page is just for you! The easiest way to start getting an idea of which style should be your first pair of posing heels would be considering the following aspects…

Your past experience with wearing heels.
- Not a lot? Don’t wear them hardly at all? Bamby on ice feels? We would recommend going for a 4-4.5 inch heel for at least for your first competing season like these ones below.

- A good amount of past experience? Anything between a 4.5 and 5 inch should be absolutely fine! Most girls will start with a 4.5 inch until they feel comfortable with their posing and then will look to go for 5 inch heel.

Wide, Narrow or Standard Feet Width?
- The LAST thing you want to do is trying to squeeze your feet into shoes that don’t suit your actual feet shape. Don’t make things harder for yourself!

- Check this blog post where we go into every detail about wide, standard, and narrow styles we have and which one might suit you best.

Platform vs No Platform?

- International counties should be aware of the posing shoe rules for their chosen federation(s) / show(s)

- In the UK scene, the only federation where a platform is not allowed is the UKBFF, any other federation a platform is absolutely okay! All styles on our website are the appropiate size when it comes to platforms.

- The main thing we will say is don’t choose a 4 inch over a 4.5 inch heel due to the height difference, as most times this is due to the addition of the platform which can help you with your posing!

- This blog post here we go into more detail about platform and non plaformed shoes.

Shoes hurting for the first time?

- This is completely normal, the shoes might feel strange at first, maybe quite tough? But ask every girl in the industry, after some wear you won’t even notice!

- Want to quicken this process? Getting something like a blisstick will help your feet to feel more comfortable and cosy!

- ALSO try your shoes with and without socks. But when wearing socks, make sure they’re white ones to prevent additional stains!

We hope this page has made the process not seem as daunting or scary now. Don’t forget to look over the blogs and resources page, in addition to following our Instagram account where you can send us any questions you have.

Happy posing! x
