KOMPAK Marketplace Terms & Conditions

 The KOMPAK Marketplace was created and designed to help ladies both buy and sell second-hand suits and shoes for their shows. Since it has started we have managed to help 100’s of girls with this! Please read on for our most updated terms and conditions relating to all items on the KOMPAK Marketplace, this has been reviewed to ensure we are providing the best experience possible for both you and the buyer.

The setup is similar to what you would see from eBay, Etsy, Depop etc. There is no initial fee to sell your item on the KOMPAK Marketplace. However, there is an automatic charge of 35% commission fee placed on the item value, i.e. £100 would mean £65. The 35% fee covers: PayPal transaction fees, the time handling the handover, time dedicated to the SEO of the page to give you all the best chance of selling your item, and tax. You will also receive a 10% off code to use on your next KOMPAK.store order.


Please read carefully: THE PROCESS AFTER YOUR ITEM HAS SOLD

1. KOMPAK informs you via email that your item has sold. Please note if we don’t hear back from you within 7 days of this email we will automatically refund the seller. So do let us know when you receive our email and when you will be posting / have posted the item. 

2. You send the item via a tracked and signed for service.

3. Make sure you keep this receipt because without this, if your parcel gets lost you will not be able to retrieve compensation back from Royal Mail.

4. If your item gets lost, KOMPAK refunds the buyer and you will be responsible for making a claim with the courier. We will not be able to transfer any funds to you.

5. It is your responsibility for keeping track of your parcel and informing KOMPAK once your parcel has arrived safe and sound to the buyer.

6. You as the seller send KOMPAK an email confirming and illustrating that your parcel has been received.

7. Payment is issued one week after the buyer has received the item AND you have informed us.

8. KOMPAK transfers what is owed to you via PayPal.


PLEASE NOTE / during busy times we can take up to 3 working days to respond, this means that this does NOT include weekends. We kindly ask that you do not double email us chasing for payment, payments can take up to 5 days to be completed.

Payment is issued 7 days after the buyer has received the item. This is in case the buyer isn’t happy due to the item not matching the description on the website for example.

Occasionally if someone has paid via PayPal Credit this can sometimes take up to 7 days to hit our account, we will inform you if this is the case with your item and order.

Please kindly be aware that you are responsible for providing an accurate description of the item you wish to sell, and are responsible for shipping your bikini (or shoes) to the customer (including the shipping fees) and also using a quality and reliable courier service provider to do this. Any damages or lost deliveries KOMPAK are not liable for coverage under any circumstances.

Purchases that are made via the website are non-refundable, however, if a customer raises concerns regarding your item in accordance with their consumer rights then the bikini/shoes will be sent back to you and you will not receive payment. You will also be responsible for covering any additional postage expenses incurred.

The more information you can provide the higher your chances of selling your item. Appearances matter so making an effort to take good photos in good lighting helps. Being second hand, customers will want to have as much detail as possible too!

We only accept submissions if you upload at a minimum the product photo(s). You will dramatically increase your chances if you submit both product and stage photos of your bikini. 

Please also be aware that you must inform us if you’ve managed to sell your bikini/shoes elsewhere or are unable to ship the item for a period of time. There have been a few occasions recently where an item has sold, we’ve emailed the seller and they have sold it elsewhere without informing us, or are away and unable to ship the bikini for weeks, leaving customers without their item and feeling upset and disappointed.

We can quickly hide an item if you are going away for a period of time and remove your item if you have seller it elsewhere. As you can appreciate some girls may be ordering things last minute for their shows and this adds to their stress.

Unfortunately, if you now don’t inform us of these changes, you will not be permitted to use the KOMPAK Marketplace going forward. This is to protect both the customer and the KOMPAK brand.
