Different Jewellery Styles & Details Explained

If you have had a look through our jewellery already you will know that we have alot of different styles. It can be a little overwhelming deciding what style is going to suit you and your bikini best.

We also know that there is alot of styles around, so to reduce some of this stress you can be sure that we handpick and choose ONLY to stock the styles that we know are going to make you look & feel the best. These are pieces that we know (from experience & research) will work the best on stage, sparkle the most, look the best under the lights etc!

Fear not, we’re about to give you the downlow on of our tips for all things that sparkle. Remember: These are just our recommendations, they are NOT rules. Choose the jewellery that makes you feel the most comfortable and confident.

So, lets clarify the different style options that you will find on our website & when we would typically recommend them…

Regular Diamantés

These are the ‘standard’ clear, colourless diamantes seen on the majority of our jewellery.

We would typically recommend regular diamantes if you have diamante connectors or even no connectors at all. This option goes with almost all styles and colours with lots of choices…long, short, big, small, simple, detailed etc. All of our SDT versions of shoes (scattered diamantes) have this style of crystals on them.

PLUS…Because this style is so versatile it is perfect for nights out after show day…or any day really.

KOMPAK jewellery isn’t just for show day after all!

AB Diamantés

When under the light these diamantes reflect the light and shine in multiple different colours.

This is a great option if you have AB crystals within your bikini design. If you aren’t sure what crystals you have, double check with your bikini designer!

PLUS… If you have a DM version of any of our heels, these are covered in AB diamante crystals. Please note this does not include any SDT styles, these are all regular diamante crystals.

Gold Diamanté

This refers to the colour of the metal on the back of the jewellery and also the small claws/clasps that hold the diamantes in place on the front. Although it may not seem like a big difference at the front initially it is a clear difference when compared to the standard silver jewellery.

Gold isn’t seen as much on stage normally, but its good to be different! We would typically recommend this if you don’t have connectors or if your connectors are gold too. If you’re competing in a diva, fitness or fashion style category or federation, then this is when we would consider the gold styles as a great option!

Gold AB Jewellery

This is the same as the above, however it also has the AB crystals that shine in multiple different colours.

This is a great option if you have AB crystals within your bikini design with no connectors, or gold connectors.

Clip-On

Our clip-on styles are great if you can’t wear ‘normal earrings’. Maybe you have stretched your ears, don’t have your ears pierced or simply just prefer this style. The clips are very secure and snug, without being too tight, ensuring that your earrings stay in place all day!

Now you know the difference between the styles, the next thing is then choosing your jewellery! Other than the things we have listed above to consider, your hairstyle and neck length may also be big factors into your decision making.
